Refund Policy

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to tuition for NodePilot Academy programs purchased directly from us and described on invoices referencing these terms. It does not govern third-party marketplaces unless a separate agreement explicitly incorporates this policy.

Corporate purchase orders remain subject to the payment milestones stated on the order form, but consumer-style cooling-off rules may still apply to certain individuals as described below.

2. Contact

Refund requests must be emailed to hello@network-nodehub.one with the subject Refund Request, including participant name, course name, cohort date, and proof of purchase. We respond within five business days with either approval, denial rationale, or a request for missing information.

Phone calls alone do not start a refund clock; written requests preserve an audit trail.

3. Timeframe

Where the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce grants a fourteen-day cooling-off period for distance contracts, you may cancel without reason within fourteen days of purchase unless you have already consumed digital content in a way that materially diminishes its value and you consented to immediate performance.

Outside statutory windows, our discretionary refunds follow the eligibility section.

4. Process

Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method when technically possible. If the processor cannot reverse to the original card, we will arrange domestic wire transfer in KRW to an account matching the payer name, which may add several transfer-processing days.

Partial refunds, when offered, are documented with line-item reasons such as unused add-ons or canceled travel components billed separately.

5. Eligibility

If you cancel at least twenty-one days before the published cohort start, you may receive a full refund minus non-recoverable vendor fees itemized on your invoice, if any. Cancellations between twenty-one and eight days may receive a fifty percent credit toward a future cohort within six months.

Cancellations within seven days of start or no-shows are generally not refundable, except where law requires otherwise or we fill the seat from a waitlist, in which case we may waive part of the fee at our discretion.

6. Exceptions

Private concierge weeks include non-refundable deposits once we block calendars and decline other clients for the same dates, as stated on the proposal. Printed materials shipped internationally may incur restocking fees if returned opened.

If we cancel a cohort due to low enrollment or instructor emergency, you may choose a full refund or a priority transfer to another date at the same tuition.

7. Non-refundable items

Third-party examination vouchers, shipping charges for hardware kits, and government filing fees are generally non-refundable once purchased on your behalf, because upstream vendors do not credit us back.

If a vendor refunds us, we will pass that refund through promptly.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve legitimate issues. Chargebacks filed in bad faith may result in removal from future enrollments after we supply evidence of service delivery.

We cooperate with card network investigations in good faith.

9. Installments

If you used an approved installment plan for tuition, refunds may first retire outstanding installments before returning any surplus to you, per processor rules.

Interest charged by third-party lenders is between you and the lender.

10. Cohort transfers

One complimentary cohort transfer is available if requested at least twenty-one days before start. Additional transfers incur an administrative fee published on the pricing page at the time of request.

Transfers are not available within seven days of start except for documented emergencies reviewed case by case.

11. Recordkeeping

We retain refund decision logs for seven years to align with accounting practices. Logs include timestamps, amounts, and internal approver initials, not sensitive government IDs unless legally required for a specific transaction.

You may request a redacted copy of your own refund log once per year at no charge.
